Twisting & Turning

Recently, one of my favorite things to do is to kick my feet and roll from side to side.  I start on my back, give both of my legs a giant lift into the air and land on my side. This was fun at first, until I realized that if I arch my back while I do it, I can move! Yep, that's right; I can completely rotate my body with very little effort!

So, every chance I get, I do my kick-and-roll to see where I can end up. Usually, I make a 90 degree turn.

In this picture, I am in quite a predicament. After starting with my feet by the piano keys, I lifted one leg over the toy bar but I left the other one on the original side.
I didn't mind, though. I realize that I get to play with more than one toy at a time like this!

Mommy and Daddy are always surprised to see that, even though they put me to sleep long-ways in my crib, they often come back to find me like this!

I just wiggle myself into a new position! I think it's fun to surprise them!

Since I'm still too young to crawl or walk, I'll keep using this twisting and turning technique to move around!

I love Christmas!!

I had a wonderful, busy and fun Christmas! All of the festivities started on Christmas Eve. We went to Grandma Lynn's house. I took a nap while the grown-ups ate and played pool. When I woke up, it was time for me to eat!
Our family Christmas picture!

Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Nick played with me. And, as usual, they  argued over who got to hold me first!
I loved hanging out and playing with everyone!
Then, it was time to open presents! I loved that part! I had no idea what to expect; I kept getting to pull off colorful paper from boxes and toys were inside!

Aunt Lindsey found a gift bag that had a picture of Delilah on it!

Grandma Lynn couldn't get enough of me! She gave me lots and lots of hugs!

I was amazed with everything that I got and I wanted to play with them right away!

The guys!

One last photo before we left to go to a family party!
We all went to Great-Uncle Mark and Aunt Lisa's house to continue to celebrate!
As soon as we arrived, everyone rushed to see me in my Santa suit. I liked seeing everyone!

Chelsey always wants to hold me! Here is a picture of us with Uncle Nick.
I had fun at the party while I let everyone hold me, opened presents, and took a nice long nap!

I put my p.j.s on and had one more chance to show Santa that I am a good little boy on the way home.

On Christmas morning, I woke up happy and ready to celebrate! Santa visited and brought me presents!

I started with my stocking (that Aunt Jen made for me!). There were fun jingle-y toys in there. I loved them!

Then, I got to unwrap presents that were under the tree. Mommy and Daddy showed me everything that Santa brought me. It was so much fun!

I wanted to start playing with my toys right away!

I couldn't believe how many presents I got throughout the celebrations!

Santa even took a bite of the cookie that I made him. (Rudolph seemed to enjoy the carrot, too!)

I had a special Christmas morning with my Daddy and Mommy!

I didn't know what toy to play with first!

After our fun Christmas morning at home, we went to a family party at Great-Aunt Pam's house. I enjoyed seeing all of my extended family and playing with even more presents!

Then, we hopped in the car again (for another nap) on our way to Grandpa Neal's house. I had lots of fun at his house! I laughed and smiled as everyone played with me.

Grandpa Neal held me while I got to see what was inside all of the wrapped gifts!

I enjoyed opening even more Christmas presents. I even tried a few out. They were so much fun!!

The next morning, we all wore our pajamas and robes to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Mike's house.  We had even more celebrating to do!

We got to eat breakfast and open presents. I played with Grandma Penny while the grown-ups played a game!

We opened more great presents!

Afterwards, we were all pooped! I took a nap on the floor, and (soon-to-be Uncle) Dominick thought it was a good idea to join me!

I was a good sport while Mommy and Aunt Jen decorated me!

I had an unbelievably amazing Christmas! Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special by sending Christmas wishes, cards or presents!  I am a lucky little boy to have such wonderful family members who took extra time to make my 1st Christmas so special!
