Bubble Battle

My parents and I have come funny conversations. I make a noise and they mimic them; it usually makes me laugh a lot!  Yesterday, Mommy and I decided to have a different type of conversation.  She made a silly sound, so I tried to make one back.  When I'm older, I'll probably get in trouble for blowing bubbles like this, but now, it's just silly to everyone!

I thought it was pretty funny. I went to sleep with my head facing the opposite way. I just really like to roll around... even in my crib! 

9-Month Check-Up!

I had my 9-month doctor check-up yesterday. I am still a healthy baby boy! I am reaching milestones on target and had fun laughing at the doctor.  

I had a re-match with the paper on the table and I won... again! I tore it to pieces (and even tried to eat some of them) and thought it was hilarious. 

My new stats:

Length/Height: 29 Inches

Weight: 21 Pounds 6 Ounces

Yes!!! No shots this time!! 

Silly Daddy!

Daddy and I made up a really silly game yesterday after my bath. Every time he put the ring on the toy, I pulled it off; I thought it was hilarious! We played this game for a very long time. Here is a little clip:

The View from Up Top!

Everyone can agree that my parents are super lucky to have a cute little baby boy like me! I thought I would give everyone a glimpse of their view. Here is a picture of an early morning walk-- I was allowed to wear my pajamas! Look at my cute little feet kicking the sunshine and my hair blowing in the wind! 

It is a view that is sure to brighten up any morning!

9 Months Old!

I am 9 months old today!

And, I might be the happiest 9-month old ever!! 

My Buddy

I had my first play-date! My buddy, Blake, came over my house to play with me.  We go for walks all the time, but we never get to see each other; we just ride next to each other in strollers. He is a little younger than me, so he couldn't play with all of my toys but I showed him all of them and showed him how they work. 

We looked at each other and smiled. We made each other laugh a lot, too!

We rolled the football back and forth. 

I spent a lot of the time flirting with Blake's mom. I am learning how to share my toys and like having a baby friend to hang out with!

Back Up!

I've figured out a new mode of transportation! When I'm on my belly, I push with my arms and scoot backwards.  It seemed like a great idea until I realized I couldn't really see where I was headed and I end up in interesting situations.

I pushed myself all the way under my parents' bed.

I've been pulling up the pieces of my play mat recently.

 Which means that there are a few more things for me to back up into in my play room.  I got myself into an interesting predicament earlier today!

Yep, my leg is through the number 8 and I backed up as far as I could go!

Rolling wasn't going to fix it; I needed Mommy's help to get out of this one!

Big Baby Teeth!

I was trying to sneak a peek of the TV behind me today, when my Mommy snapped a picture of my teeth! They keep growing and make me look like such a big boy!  The bottom ones show when I smile, but the top ones stay hidden behind my lip for now.  I keep rubbing my tongue against my top teeth because it is so weird to have them there!

Too much fun!

I love playing with my parents at home.  We were being silly and realized that I fit in one of my Easter baskets! I really liked being carried around in it. It made me laugh a lot.

I must have had too much fun, because I ended up falling asleep sitting up in my Daddy's arms!

Why crawl when I can roll?

I love to roll! I roll everywhere and I get to everything that I want to get to. If rolling is so fun, why do I need to learn to crawl? Anytime I'm on my belly and I see something out of reach, I tuck my arm and roll to it. Sometimes, it takes many rolls in different directions, but I always get there!

My First Easter

I woke up early on Easter morning. My parents brought me downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny left me! I was still a little sleepy, but I was calmly interested in what I saw.

I was very interested in the Easter grass. I was still sleepy, but I really wanted to see what this stuff was all about.

I can't believe the Easter Bunny left these eggs all over the floor! 

After I got to play with all of my new toys, we went to church and then to Grandma Penny and Grandpa Mike's house.

I got a new toy!

I played with Grandma and Grandpa until it was time to eat; then I took a nice long nap!

Next, we went to Grandpa Neal's house. I got another fun Easter basket full of goodies!

I had a very, very fun day! I'm happy that I got to see everyone in my family and spend time with them.

The Indians' season officially started yesterday! I watched most of the game, until it was my bedtime.  

Piggy-Back Ride!

I just discovered what a piggy-back ride is! How fun!! We need an extra person for the hand-off, but I laugh and laugh as I get a ride around the house. I'm quickly trying to figure out how to hold on... to anything within reach!

New Tooth, New Smile!

A second top tooth popped through today! It feels so different! I spend a lot of time moving my lips and tongue to feel it.

I have also decided to change the way I smile in order to show more of my teeth.  I try to show all my bottom teeth in one big, open-mouthed smile. My smile makes people laugh and it makes them comment on the teeth that I have worked so hard to push through! 

My Own Swing Set!!

As soon as Grandma Lynn saw the pictures of me on the swing at the park, she insisted that I have my own swing set in my back yard to play on.  She let my parents pick out a play set for our back yard and bought it for me to use as I grow up! 

I expected a giant truck to drop off a full-sized swing set for me to play on that day. Well, I was wrong; the swing set came in almost a billion pieces. Then, it was Daddy's turn to play! He spent hours in the garage hammering, drilling, screwing, reading and re-reading directions.  Grandpa Mike even helped out! After a couple days of building, it was complete!

It has been pretty chilly recently, but I got bundled up to try out my new swing! It is SO FUN! I love it and I can't wait to keep playing with it! 

As usual, I am one lucky little boy! :)
