Look what I can do!

Now that I've mastered crawling, I want more! I am trying to move in any and every way possible. I haven't figured out how to go up the stairs, yet, but I sure like to try the first step.

 I am figuring out how to move from the carpet to the cold and slippery wood floor. I go everywhere!!

Shades

The car wash might be scary enough to make me cry, but lucky for me Mommy got to climb to the back seat to play with me while Daddy was driving.  She even let me borrow her sunglasses! I know they are a little girly, but they made me laugh a lot and forget that I was even in a scary, lit-up rain storm in a box.

Zoo!

My Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo on Saturday! It was my first time to get to see all of the animals!

I got to see the penguins swimming in the water.

Daddy held me up so I could see the animals.

The animals were cool, but I really liked looking at the animals' habitats. The waterfalls were so pretty!

I was mesmerized by the fish in the aquarium! 

I got to try another thing for the first time... a carousel! I got to go on with Mommy. The animal went up and down and around and around. 

It was so much fun to spend the day trying something new with my parents!

Baseball Game

I went to another one of my cousin Mitch's baseball games! He is such a good baseball player that he got to play in a big game in Canton. The field was almost like a major-league stadium, so I got to sit in my very own seat! I spent some time watching the game, but I spent a lot of time watching my cousins Chelsey and Jack and other family and friends that were sitting behind me. I devoured an orange popsicle and watched as the teams' fans cheered very loudly. Mommy held me up to cheer when Mitch made great plays!

Rugrat!

I understand why little crawling babies are called 'rugrats.' Look at me go!

Crawling!

After months of moving creatively around the floor by scooting, rolling, flipping and shimmying, I am officially a crawler! Yep; I'm a hands and knees, forward-moving crawler! My parents tried to get me to crawl towards all kinds of toys and colorful things.  The item that made me want to move was an envelope that fell on the floor while my parents were reading the mail.  I wanted it SO badly that I tucked my knees in and crawled forward towards it.  Every time that they moved it since then, I've crawled towards it!

10 Months Old!

I can barely believe it; I'm double-digits! I turned 10 months old on Saturday.

A Clown!

I went to my buddy Theo's 1st birthday party this weekend.  I got to see a lot of my family, which was fun. I also got to see a clown for the very first time! The clown talked to all of the kids and did magic tricks.  I didn't laugh at his tricks, but I did laugh at the way he looked!

Mommy and Daddy took turns holding me during the show.

Theo also had a bouncy house at his party! This was my first time in one.

 It... was... awesome!

I got to go in all by myself without any grown-ups!

I even got to go down the blow-up slide, which was super fun!

They saved the best for last; I got to eat cake and ice cream!

I hope Theo had a great birthday; we had fun celebrating with him and our families!

Our First Mother's Day

I gave my Mommy the BEST 1st Mother's Day!

Daddy and I worked very hard to plan for a great day and a relaxing gift for Mommy. 

We started the day off by giving Mommy her gifts and letting her relax and take a nap.

A little later, Grandma Penny and Grandpa Mike came over for brunch. I got to eat brunch, too!

I got to wish both of my Grandmas a Happy Mother's Day because Grandma Lynn came over later with everyone for another party!

We were celebrating Mommy and Grandma, but I took some time to play with Uncle Nick, too! He always makes me laugh!

I even got a special gift for my Godmother, Aunt Lindsey because she always makes me feel so special and loves me so much!

I had fun playing with everyone! 

My Mommy and I are partners in crime; I go everywhere goes and it was nice to have a special day to celebrate our relationship! I show my Mommy I love her everyday by snuggling close and laughing with her. After a nice, long family walk, we cuddled a little bit more.

Fitting right in!

Daddy usually comes home to see me for lunch. But, when Grandma is visiting, we usually meet him out for lunch! I have grown up so much that I am now able to sit all by myself at the big-boy table. My parents made me think I was eating grown-up food, but it was too spicy, so they gave me some baby Cheetos! I didn't mind; it was fun to sit up and look at all the people. 

Silly Bananas

Click, click, click!

I learned a new trick! My Mommy was making clicking noises with her mouth to get my attention and to make me laugh.  I looked at her mouth; I touched her lips with my fingers. Then, I gave it a try.  Now, it's something I have been doing all day! When Mommy let me watch the video of myself making this silly noise, I started doing it along with my video-self.  (Maybe this 'trick' will replace my raspberry blowing because I think it is funny to do it while I am eating my baby food!)

Still Loving Bath Time!

If I could, I would spend all day in the bath! I love my ducky bath tub, but think I am going to outgrow it pretty soon. 

Playing and Standing

Notice what is different about me playing in this picture compared to other pictures?

I'm standing! (With help, of course)

I got a brand new toy today to help me balance while standing up.  It has all sorts of cool sounds and colors. It gives me a reason to want to stand up. Mommy still needs to stay super close, but I'm figuring out the idea of balancing myself while holding on to a toy. I like playing with the balls the most; I'm still trying to figure out where they end up when I put them down the hole in the middle!

I am getting bigger and stronger everyday! 

Baby Pool!

It has been really hot lately, so Mommy got me a baby pool for our back yard!

It is just like my favorite place to play, the bath, except I get to wear funny clothes and I don't need to wash my hair!

We invited my buddy, Blake, to come over and play in the pool with us. We were wearing silly pool clothes and hats. I was happy to see him when he came over. 

The water was nice and warm and I brought my bath toys in to play with.  I showed my buddy all of my toys and I splashed him... a lot.  He didn't like it at first, but soon he learned how to splash with his feet, too!

I love splashing!

We had so much fun! I can't wait to go outside and play in the water again soon!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

I went to my first baseball game yesterday!  My cousin Mitch is a very good baseball player, so Grandma Lynn, Mommy, Uncle Nick and I went to the ball park to watch him play. It was a really hot day, so I didn't get to stay very long.  I loved looking at all of the people and watching what was going on everywhere--including the game.  I looked around when everyone cheered. It was a lot of fun!

The Plank

I'm growing to be very big and strong.  I'm working on my own kind of situation because I plank on the ground pretty often.  My abs are getting so strong that I can do all kinds of things I couldn't do before. I move from sitting up, to laying down, to rolling and scooting all over the floor!

Mommy and I have officially started planning my first birthday party! Since we have a couple months until the big event, we have time to be silly at the party store!
