Heads Up!

I am getting so strong!  When I was younger, I needed the grown-ups to support my head when they held me.  Now, I still need some help, but I've been working on holding my head up all by myself!  With a little more practice, I'll be able to hold my head up all the time.  (It's going to take some work, though, with these cheeks!) Here are a couple pictures of me balancing my head up.... without any help!

I'm like a life-sized bobble head!

Mommy is so proud that I am getting big and strong!

I'm growing up so quickly, that I even helped Mommy feed me yesterday.  I pushed her hand aside when she was bottle-feeding me and I held on to the bottle all by myself!  I could only hold it for a few moments because I couldn't lift it high enough for the milk to come out, but I'll keep working on it!

Some Pictures

I'm Mommy's little side-kick!

Sleeping through Aunt Lindsey's visit.

Mommy's friends Tiffany and Hillary can't believe how big I am getting!

Mommy always kisses my cheeks!

I love my Daddy!

Aunt Lindsey's Birthday

We all celebrated Aunt Lindsey's birthday at Grandma Lynn's house yesterday.  As soon as I got there, I got handed off from one set of arms to another. Everyone wanted to hold me!

I loved when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to Aunt Lindsey because I got to help her blow out the candles (or, at least, I got a front row seat)! That cake looked so yummy; I can't wait until I can dig into all of that yummy frosting!

I had a lot of fun spending time with my family! :)

Pick an apple, Put it in the Basket!

Mommy and Daddy took me to an apple orchard to pick apples!  I can't believe how many apple trees there were! My hands are too litle to pick the apples, so Mommy and Daddy picked the ones that caught my eye.  I stayed awake the whole time, just looking around at all of the pretty trees and smelling the fresh air.  We had so much fun!
Hanging out in an apple tree

Daddy picked the apples high up on the trees

I loved looking at all of the different colored apples

My parents wanted me to get a closer look

Mommy sang the picking apples song to me during most of our trip

I can't wait until I am old enough to find out what an apple tastes like!

Practice makes Perfect

I finally got a football that is my size.  When Uncle Nick visited today, he naturally took it upon himself to treat our visit like a football training camp for babies.  I worked on squats (kicking while lying), push ups (tummy time) and my football hold (a football propped under my arm).  He says it’s never too early to start practicing.  (He also said the bottle gets taken away each time I drop the ball... but Mommy wouldn't let that happen!) So, I’ll keep working on my football hold... while I’m drinking milk!

There is room for one more!

I love getting pushed around in the cart!

Halloween costume shopping. We didn't find a costume for me, but Aunt Lindsey put on a fashion show!

Two Month Check-Up

I knew yesterday was going to be a big day when Mommy and Daddy wished me a happy 2 month birthday when I woke up.  The day was filled with smiles and giggles.........

....... until I went to the doctor's office for my two month check-up.  It started off great; the doctor was impressed with my muscle tone and everything checked out perfectly.
Here are my new stats:
Weight: 13 lbs. 4 oz.
Height: 23 inches
I was happily kicking my legs on the doctor's table until I realized that I needed to get 3 shots.  No one warned me!  It was not a happy birthday present, to say the least.  The only presents that I got from the doctor were two multi-colored band-aids.  Many tears later, I was happily at home again with my Mommy and Daddy to celebrate my two months!
