Stinker Face

I make all kinds of cute and silly faces.  One facial expression that I have been making lately is this one:

My Mommy and Daddy have named this face my "stinker face" because I'm usually being very ornery when I make it! I think it is funny. My friend Emily took these pictures of me when she and Uncle Nick were playing with me.

Visitors

Remember when I got to meet my second-cousins during our trip to Florida? They came in town to Ohio to visit! I am a lot more playful now that I am older, so I got to play with Mackenzie and my toys.  Maclairen gets to use my bouncer that I am too big for... but after seeing her play in it, I'm not sure I'm ready to give it up! :)

I am climbing on anything I can get my hands on! Yesterday, when Uncle Nick came over to play, I showed him how I can climb in and out of my ball pit all by myself.

Holden Beach!

I spent all of last week on vacation at Holden Beach, North Carolina.  I went with 20 other grown-ups, including Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa DeMarsh and Aunt Jen and Dominick.  

I rode on an airplane with Mommy and Daddy.   I was a very good boy!

I was excited to go in a real pool for the first time! I got slathered in suntan lotion and started splashing right away!

I had a special raft to float around in that kept the sun out of my face. 

I loved being in the pool!!

I got to hang out at the beach, too. 

I am such a big boy!

I got to spend some fun time with Aunt Jen!

It rained for an entire day! We had to find fun things to do inside to keep us occupied. 

I just stayed bundled up. I didn't mind the rain! 

The sun came back out the next day, and it was time to play outside again! 

I played in a baby pool, sometimes, to stay out of the sun.

The sand was SO FUN! I liked grabbing it with my hands and raking it with my toys. 

It was a lot of fun to sit on the wet sand, too.  The water kept splashing up at me and it made me so excited that I shook all over!

I practiced my walking on the beach...

Until my feet got stuck in the sand!

We had to wake up very early to catch our flight home. I was a good sport as I rode around the airport in my pajamas.

I slept most of the time on the airplane, but there was enough time to play peek-a-boo with Daddy's hat!

11 Months Old!

I'm 11 months old today! I am growing so quickly.

This is how I greet my parents when I wake up. The crib mattress is on the lowest possible setting!

Ahhh... It feels good to be a big boy! Only one more month until the big O-N-E!

Our First Father's Day

We celebrated our first Father's Day yesterday.  I wanted to make the day extra special for my Daddy because he is the best daddy in the world!

After letting him sleep in for a little bit, we woke him up with breakfast in bed. (Delilah ended up licking his food while we were opening presents, so he ate breakfast downstairs, instead.) 

We got to spend the whole day together! We even wore matching shirts!

We went out to lunch with Mommy.

Later, we went to Grandpa Neal's house to celebrate with him and the rest of our family. I had fun making everyone laugh!

I gave Uncle Nick extra high-fives and hugs because he is my Godfather!

I got to celebrate Father's Day with Grandpa Mike over the past week while we were on vacation (details in a blog post soon!) at the beach. 

I'm a lucky little boy to have such a wonderful Daddy, Grandpas, and Godfather.  I'm glad that we have Father's Day so I can let them know how special they are to me!
