Here is a recap of my two babysitting experiences so far:
First, my parents had a wedding to go to, so they asked the family, before I was even born, who would like to watch me. Aunt Lindsey immediately said, "I will!" Normally, having an aunt babysit sounds like a good idea. But Aunt Lindsey isn't an ordinary aunt. She is a high-heel and makeup-wearing, doesn't touch baby poop kind of aunt. She even requested (during Mommy's pregnancy), that she not hold the baby (me!) until I had a few good baths. Needless to say, everyone was curious about her being the first one to watch me alone.
Everything changed once I was born. Aunt Lindsey might be my biggest fan. She held me right there in the delivery room, and she hasn't stopped wanting to hold me since. She visits me all of the time and kisses my face whether I am asleep or awake. She dresses me, feeds me, burps me and wipes up my spit-up. She had a few failed attempts of changing my poopy diaper (failed meaning gagging and running out of the room screaming, "Oh My God; I can't!") but finally changed me successfully while she babysat me. She and Josh came over early on Saturday to let Mommy and Daddy get ready. She held me the entire time...
Until her arms got tired and I ended up in much bigger arms...
Aunt Lindsey walked around with me, with the baby music on full blast, until I fell asleep. I have never had so much night-time lotion slathered on my body before. She bundled me up and watched me sleep until Mommy and Daddy came home.
So, she is still a makeup and high-heel wearing aunt, but she can add 'Logan lover' and 'diaper changer' to the list!
The second time I had a babysitter was when Mommy had to go to the doctor. I went to Grandma Lynn's house and got to play with her. She was so excited to get me all to herself. Mommy told her that I would probably want a nap after I drank my milk, but Grandma Lynn wanted me to stay awake and play with her.
Does it look like I'm having fun??
Great Aunt Kathy heard that I was there and came over for a visit. She has decided that her lipstick-leaving-kisses no longer need to go on babies' cheeks, and now kisses the bottom of my foot instead.
When Mommy got home, I was in the exact same place that she left me-- sitting on Grandma Lynn's lap in her favorite chair.

Logan's Aunt Lindsey sounds just like Drew's Aunt Megan. :) A nephew can sure melt his aunt's heart!
