Welcome, Top Tooth!

I've been chewing on my fingers a lot lately, and it is starting to pay off because I got my first top tooth earlier this week! I'll keep shoving as many fingers in my mouth as I can in hopes that more teeth continue to pop through. The more teeth I have, the more food I get to try!

Ever since Dominick visited us a couple of months ago, I have been shaking my head 'no' for everyone's entertainment.  Take a look at my honesty during a conversation with my Mommy that Aunt Lindsey caught on tape.

Crunch, Crunch, Crunch!

My third tooth popped out this weekend!  It is on the bottom, right next to my other two.  Now that I have three teeth, Mommy and Daddy let me try some baby cheese-curls.  As usual, I didn't know what to expect with the first bite.  But, soon enough, I got SO excited about the new flavor and texture!



I kept eating cheese curls.  Listen to that CRUNCH of my bottom teeth getting put to work!

The Easter Bunny!

I met the Easter Bunny!!

My parents dressed me in my big-boy clothes and took me to the mall.  They have been telling me all about the Easter Bunny and how he is going to bring me eggs and a basket full of goodies in a couple weeks.  We went to the mall to meet him! 

I really didn't mind that I was sitting on a giant fuzz ball. I just looked at my parents smiling at me and hung out on the bunny's lap until my turn was over.  I grabbed onto his fur with one hand and watched the crazy lady behind the camera as she waved toys in the air trying to get my attention.  

Now, when I am shown this picture, I laugh out loud! 

Feel Better, Grandpa!

I couldn't stop looking at all that hair he had grown on his chin. It was silly to see him in his glasses, too. There were a lot of cords that I was not allowed to pull on, so I spent most of the time playing on the bed next to his. 

Grandpa Neal and I are going to have a contest to see who can walk first!

I hope my Grandpa feels better soon!

Grandpa Neal had to have surgery on his knee. I went to the hospital to cheer him up.

Pull Out the Summer Clothes!

I thought I had a bit of time before I would wear my summer clothes, but I'm already wearing them! Luckily the 12-month size fits!

 We also learned that sun-tan lotion works as hair gel.

Silly Uncle Nick!

I spent a lot of time with my family this weekend.  We played outside at Grandma Lynn's house. I got to watch Daddy and Uncle Nick play badminton.  It was so funny watching Uncle Nick dive to make his shots; he is so crazy!  So, I just sat and watched... and laughed! I laughed every time he swung his racket. It was very entertaining.

Swing!

Mommy and I went to the park yesterday. I got to swing in a swing for the very first time! I liked watching all of the kids play around me; I was more interested in them than the swing. I was very content swinging back and forth.  I'm glad that there is something for babies like me to do at the park!

Bedtime Stories

When bedtime comes and I'm not very sleepy, we have time to read a few bedtime stories.  My parents take turns reading to me and I get to look at the pictures and listen.  Last night, Daddy read me bedtime stories and I was a very well-behaved boy while we relaxed in my nursery. 

 Sometimes I look at the pictures in the book and sometimes I look at the person reading it!

Shady Strolls

I spent some more time outside today. It is nice and warm, but I stay cool in the shade. Most of the time, I sleep during my walks; when I'm not sleeping, I'm laughing and playing with my toys! 

Outside!

I spent most of yesterday outside! It was so fun to see the sunshine and feel the breeze. As I was pushed around in my stroller, my litle hairs blew in the wind. I just laid back and enjoyed the ride.  I am really going to like this warmer weather!

Feel Better, Grandma!

Grandma Lynn had to have surgery yesterday.  I surprised her at the hospital by popping my head around the curtain while they were prepping her. She was SO excited to see me!  I made her laugh by trying on her surgical-hair net.

I gave her a pep-talk in my own little baby-language. 

I was a good boy while I entertained everyone in the waiting room while we waited.  Afterwards, I cheered her (along with many other patients and guests) up a little more. I hope my Grandma feels better soon!!

This is the life!

There is nothing better than laying back, getting warm water poured on you, with as many toys as I can fit in my tub surrounding me. (I might need to make a few more explosions happen just as an excuse to relax in the bath more often!)

Library!

I went to my very first class at the library today! The "Baby Time" class had a lot of little girls and boys of all ages. We sat on little carpet squares and listened to a few stories.  Mommy helped me move my hands along with the songs that everyone sang.  I loved watching all of the kids sing and move around.

When we were done singing songs and reading stories, the teacher got out a bunch of big smiley-face balls for us to play with.  I liked watching them fly through the air.  

One little boy came over and rolled the ball to me, so we rolled it back and forth for a while. 

I was a very well behaved student. I had fun and I am looking forward to going back to the library again soon!

Bouncy Ball Pit!!

Grandma Lynn told me that she had a surprise that was going to be delivered when I visited her.  We waited all day for the UPS Truck to come down the street; when it finally came, I got to see my surprise! It was a bouncy basketball ball pit! I am the luckiest grandson!!

It took a while to fill up the ball pit with air, so I just played with the balls.  I didn't know what to think at first...

I soon realized that I got to hold, throw and attempt to bite each of the balls! Wow!

Once the ball pit got blown up, I got to sit inside of it.  I like to bounce on my butt and watch all of the balls around me.  I even got to add some other toys. It is so much fun!!

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get the balls into the basketball hoop yet, but I think I have some grown-ups that are excited to help me.

We're waiting for 100 more balls to be delivered, but I'm enjoying the 20 that came with it!

I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time in here!

Saturday Snuggles!

I love Saturday morning snuggles! I get to cuddle in bed with my Daddy and Mommy. We have lots of fun!

"Mom!"

My mumbles have turned into heart-melting sound for my Mommy! I now have a word to describe the lady that I spend my days (and nights!) with.  My first official word is "Mom!!"
